After a short break from reviewing good movies, i am back again. Thanks to my sweetheart for recommending this movie to me.Erin Brockovich ..... just a name, but deeds are real fantastic. It is a true story of a single mother of three children and also unemployed ( real trouble ) who starts to take special interest in case involving medical records in real-estate files and PG&E offering to purchase it's factory's vicinity homes..
It's a numerous award winning movie which no one can miss. Guys ,it is a real treat for eyes and ears too... Yes, you read it right. the dialogs in the film are too good. they perfectly depicts who Erin is. I am giving here few samples :
1) Erin to George who asks her number and who later becomes her boyfriend
George: How many numbers you got?
Erin Brockovich: Oh, I got numbers comin' outta my ears. For instance: ten.
George: Ten?
Erin Brockovich: Yeah. That's how many months old my baby girl is.
George: You got a little girl?
Erin Brockovich: Yeah. Yeah, sexy, huh? How 'bout this for a number? Six. That's how old my other daughter is, eight is the age of my son, two is how many times I've been married - and divorced; sixteen is the number of dollars I have in my bank account. 850-3943. That's my phone number, and with all the numbers I gave you, I'm guessing zero is the number of times you're gonna call it.
2) Erin to a woman from partnering law firm who wishes to take over Erin's work and would be doing it professionally.
Kurt Potter: Wha... how did you do this?
Erin Brockovich: Well, um, seeing as how I have no brains or legal expertise, and Ed here was losing all faith in the system, am I right?
Ed Masry: Oh, yeah, completely. No faith, no faith...
Erin Brockovich: I just went out there and performed sexual favors. Six hundred and thirty-four blow jobs in five days... I'm really quite tired.
I shall not tell storyline because it is just a click away but i would surely recommend this movie to all readers out there. What to say about Julia Roberts. She lived Erin brockovich for this movie. Her body language, her style, her way of delivering dialog is awesome. No one would be a better suit than Roberts for this role. I really liked the movie. Woman's power is depicted so clearly that every woman would feel proud be one. :)
A must watch...
